RTI exhibits at ISTFA 2024
We're excited to share that Robson Technologies, Inc. (RTI) will once again be exhibiting at the annual International Symposium for Testing and Failure Analysis (ISTFA) in San Diego, California! This year's event is extra special as it marks a golden milestone—50 years of bringing together the brightest minds in the microelectronics failure analysis community.
ISTFA 2024 is shaping up to be an incredible event, with a theme that couldn't be more relevant: Artificial Intelligence (AI). AI is rapidly transforming our world and playing a crucial role in the semiconductor industry, especially in areas like design, manufacturing, and failure analysis.
New AI chipsets with 3D packaging techniques like wafer bonding, wafer-level fan-out (WLFO) and other die-to-die stacking techniques pose new challenges to FA engineers tasked with identifying failures in these complex assemblies. Advanced inspection and data collection techniques for AI processors and chipsets can be satisfied using RTI's precision engineered test sockets which observe the demanding test configurations and operational requirements during test. Additional test interface solutions and Automated Curve Tracing methods will also be on display.
We can't wait to connect with industry leaders, share our latest advancements in socket design, Automated Curve Tracing data collection methods, and explore the exciting new opportunities AI brings to microelectronics design and test. Be sure to stop by our booth #211—we'd love to meet you and discuss how we can collaborate on the future of this dynamic industry.

Curve Trace Hardware and Software Demos
RTI will be exhibiting a complete MultiTrace system with live previews of our new software suite: DataTrace Pro. DataTrace Pro automates and streamlines the process of curve tracing for high-pin count devices. It simplifies the process for test engineers to collect and analyze data from IV curve traces and write reports.
We plan to bring additional fixture solutions and our newly engineered design of flat top socket convertibles (FTSC). FTSC was developed for use in multiple test applications from inspection and failure analysis to engineering hand tests. This new design allows 100% full and unobstructed access to the surface of the DUT. It is an ideal solution for failure analysis and reliability engineers.
